Position Summary:
Provides in-home, non-medical services to support clients with daily living activities (ADLs), ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified living environment. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Companionship: Engaging in conversation, hobbies, reading, and social activities to provide emotional support.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, showering, grooming, hair care, dressing, and toileting.
  • Mobility Assistance: Helping with transferring (bed/chair), walking, and using wheelchairs or walkers.
  • Homemaking: Performing light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, changing linens, and organizing.
  • Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals, and assisting with feeding if necessary.
  • Transportation & Errands: Driving clients to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, or pharmacy visits.
  • Medication Reminders: Prompting clients to take pre-measured or prescription medications (non-administration).
  • Safety & Monitoring: Observing and reporting changes in physical or mental health to supervisors/family
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
  • Pass background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to lbs (required for mobility assistance).
  • Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor. 

Core Competencies:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.
  • Reliability and punctuality. 
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
